Back in the 19th century, when astronomers began to massively observe the sky through their telescopes, they were puzzled by the fact that many (or even almost all!) Ancient structures, as well as megaliths, are oriented to a specific place in the sky – the constellation Orion.
This strange discovery led many of them to believe that these structures must have some kind of connection with the stars, that is, they must have been oriented towards Orion for some important reason.
One of the popular points of view among historians and other scientists was that the ancient people who worshiped the Gods believed that they came from the stars, namely from the constellation Orion. But why this particular constellation was chosen is still unclear.
The constellation of Orion is indeed given a very important place in many ancient “observatories”, star calendars and other monuments oriented to the position of the stars.
There is a bold assumption that the most ancient image of Orion is a drawing of a “man with outstretched arms” carved on a mammoth tusk and dates back 32 thousand years.
And some Russian researchers who studied the ancient “Hyperborean sanctuaries” on the Kola Peninsula in the White Sea (megalithic complexes and stone labyrinths) once linked the locations of the largest such “sanctuaries” on the map and the resulting scheme reminded them very much of the constellation Orion.
On the territory of Armenia there is an ancient stone monument, the so-called Oscillating Pillar of Tatev or Gavazan. It is located near the Tatev Monastery and was built over a thousand years ago. It is believed that it is also focused specifically on Orion, or rather on the three stars of Orion’s belt.
The pictures below show how the Egyptian pyramids, the Chinese pyramids and the pyramids of Mexico are clearly oriented towards the constellation Orion.
The Hopi Indian people, known for their ancient legends and tales, as well as prophecies, lives in the state of Arizona (USA). And the location of their ancient stone fortress buildings is very similar to the location of the stars in the constellation Orion.
Discovered in Egypt (near Aswan) in 1998, a circle of high megalith stones, the so-called Nabta Playa calendar circle, is 1500 years older than the famous Stonehenge, it is at least 6500 years old.
According to Professor Thomas Brophy, this circle is a detailed calendar and astrophysical map that contains incredibly accurate information about the constellation Orion and the three stars of Orion’s Belt.
The Orion correlation theory is a fringe theory in Egyptology explaining a possible purpose in the arrangement of the Giza pyramid complex.
It posits that there is a correlation between the location of the three largest pyramids of the Giza pyramid complex and Orion’s Belt of the constellation Orion, and that this correlation was intended as such by the original builders of the Giza pyramid complex.
The stars of Orion were associated with Osiris, the god of rebirth and afterlife by the ancient Egyptians. Depending on the version of the theory, additional pyramids can be included to complete the picture of the Orion constellation, and the Nile river can be included to match with the Milky Way.
And there are still very, very many such places in different countries and different parts of the world. What could make ancient people, who lived very far from each other, revere a certain constellation so strongly? Maybe a very long time ago “Gods” (aliens) really flew from there to Earth?
